After launching exhibitions in Stockholm, Oslo, Gothenburg, Copenhagen and Helsinki, Fair Media International responded to requests from their exhibitors and organized a first exhibition in Malmoe at the end of 2007 at Malmömässan. The strong purchasing power in the relatively wealthy region of Skåne, in the South of Sweden, was one reason for choosing this third largest city in Sweden for Fair Media’s next expansion. The near proximity of Denmark, only being a short ride away on the train or by car across the water of Öresund, was another one – with the thought of attracting Danish people to the exhibitions in Malmoe.
The exhibition held the 23rd – 24th of March showed the very strong interest that exists in the region. The seminars were well attended and several of the exhibitors commented on the fact that the visitors now often knows more about the subject and that several of them have already decided the country and the area where they want to buy before they attend the exhibition and this leads to a smoother contact between seller and costumer.
Next fair in Malmoe will be held the 28th – 29th of September 2019. It will be nr 23 since the start 2007 and we will be once more at the exhibition center Malmö Mässan.
The exhibitions are a market place for exhibitors from the whole world who want to get in contact with qualified buyers. Our exhibitors come from around 10 different countries and are made up by agents and constructors plus other companies related to the business.
We arrange different seminars that are all free for the public. In the official folder we give information about these and also the persons responsible. Normally they treat different popular destinations where Scandinavians buy properties but also specific seminars about tax consequences when buying a property abroad and pension abroad.
We arrange a Kids Corner – with personnel taking care of your kids! This gives you the possibility to leave your children at the Kids Corner and we will take care of them while you can walk around the exhibition and listen to the seminars.
Opening hours: Saturday and Sunday between 10.30 – 17.00. Free entrance.
Restaurant: In the cafeteria we serve food and drinks.
Folder: By the entrance the visitor receives a folder where it clearly is stated where the different exhibitors have their stands and in which countries they sell properties.
