About us

The first exhibition was held in 2003 at the World Trade Center in Stockholm under the name Buying Property in Spain. Until the spring of 2005, the event focused exclusively on the Spanish property market. It was then expanded to include properties from destinations around the world and renamed the Buying Properties Abroad Exhibition.

Since 2003, we have organised more than 160 international property exhibitions under the Buying Properties Abroad brand across the Nordic region. In 2025, Fair Media hosted exhibitions in Stockholm, Göteborg, and Copenhagen. In 2026, we will organise fairs in Stockholm and Göteborg.

Our exhibitions provide a meeting place for exhibitors from around the world looking to showcase their properties to qualified buyers. Exhibitors typically represent around 15 different countries and include estate agents, property developers, construction companies, and other businesses specialising in international property.

We organise a variety of seminars that are completely free for visitors. The fair brochure provides information about the seminars and their speakers. Seminars normally cover popular destinations around the world, as well as specific topics such as the tax implications of buying property abroad, retiring abroad and financing options for purchasing property overseas.

Restaurant: The exhibition feature a restaurant serving food and drinks, often accompanied by live entertainment such as musicians and other performers.
